Policy Committee
The Policy Committee is charged with identifying key legislative issues relevant to Society members, responding to consultations on behaf of the Society and its members, producing briefing papers for the membership on topical issues raised by the committee, and conducting any associated lobbying. The work of the Policy Committee is featured in the News section of our website, in our weekly Bulletin email newsletter, in our monthly Policy RoundUp email and in the pages of each issue of Informed magazine.
The committee meets on a quarterly basis, or more frequently if required, and is made up of IROs across a number of sectors and company sizes, supporting advisor members, as well as broader stakeholders and industry representatives from other professional bodies and accountancy firms.
